We developed a technology and a pilot plant for production of small-grained sulfur. Basic researches are performed, pilot batches of products are received, data required for the production use of the plant and the technology are obtained. The plant allows using of liquid sulfur for production of both powdered sulfur and sulfur polymer binder.

The plant allows to use liquid sulfur for production of small-grained sulfur with the regulated size of grains from 3,5 mm to 0,071 mm and less, depending on the product functions. Particles of the produced sulfur have a spherical shape (grains), which assures high useful quality of the product. Toughness of granules is rather high, which allows to transfer them undamaged, including by pneumatic transport. The obtained small-grained sulfur does not produce dust and does not cake, and it can be packed more compactly.

To store and transfer such product, it is possible to use the storage and retrieval system similar to the one used in the construction sphere for storage and transfer of cement (cement carriers, pullman cars, pneumatic transport).

The produced products can be used for the following purposes, including ecological:

1. Remediation of oily soils with various degrees of pollution;

2. Rubber and tire industry (a certain certificate is present);

3. Fungicides and insecticides in the agricultural industry;

4. Production of sulfur polymer binder;

5. Manure for the agricultural industry;

6. Technical small-grained sulfur for end users of sulfur.
