One of the ways to intensify technological processes is to process materials in the vortex layer of ferromagnetic particles, which is generated by means of impact of a rotating electromagnetic field upon them.
Newly developed apparatuses based on the vortex layer principles allow to intensify the whole range of technological processes owing to the complex impact of thorough mixing and desperation, acoustic and electromagnetic treatment, friction, high local pressures (cavitation) and electrolysis upon the processed substances.
The main processes, which can be in the vortex layer, may be divided as follows:
1. Mixing of liquids and gases;
2. Mixing of solid granular materials;
3. Dry granulation of solid substances;
4. Granulation of solid substances in liquid dispersing media;
5. Activation of particle surfaces of solid substances;
6. Acceleration of chemical reactions (catalysis);
7. Change of physical and chemical properties of substances.
We developed the construction documentation, in accordance to which a modernized vortex layer apparatus (VLA) is made. VLA has a strong impact on the processed substance and operates on the basis of a constant flow in media with the temperatures up to 230?Ñ (see the Figures below).

Depending on the technological process, VLA is provided in the modules with dimensions of 3x6 m or 3õ9 m.
